Is there a need for tradesmen?
Yes, the Tiling Institution states that there is a shortage of over 14,500 tilers in the UK alone and a lack of young people entering skilled trades has created a shortage in experienced tradesmen with prices for workmen increasing as a result.
How big are the classes?
We guarantee personalised tuition in small classes with an absolute maximum of 7 students in any class.
Do we share work space?
No, each student has their own full size area and tools, with plenty of space to practice.
Do I need special clothing?
No special clothing is required, just comfortable work shoes and work wear / overalls that you can work in and you don’t mind getting dirty.
Do I need to bring any equipment or tools?
No, we will supply all the tools, equipment and tiles that you will require for the course.
Are there any extra charges?
No, all of our courses include the cost of all materials so there are no extra charges.
Will I get a recognised qualification?
Yes! We offer nationally recognised qualifications, which coupled with your course portfolio, will show the quality of your work and skills achieved.

Can I really take up a new trade as a profession?
If you are prepared to put in the hard work, we will give you the training to set you on your way. We also help with setting up trade accounts and marketing yourself and we provide a FREE advice line Monday to Friday to give you the backup should you require.
If I do the 2 week course and decide to do a further course at a later stage, what would the cost be?
The cost will be the same as if you did the original course so you will only pay the difference.
Can we purchase tools at the training centre?
Yes you can purchase tools at very competitive prices from the training centre from a number of leading brands.
I’m travelling, is there somewhere I can stay during my course?
We have several recommended local accommodation providers and can arrange for you to stay at discounted prices. Costs are between £20-£30 per night with breakfast included.
I’m travelling down and have no transport – will this be a problem?
No, we offer a pick up and drop off service from all areas including your accommodation and local train station.
What are the course hours?
Course times are 9am – 5pm, however, we are open from 8am – 6pm to give you more hours to practice if you would like. The training centre is not closed at lunchtime and our philosophy is practice makes perfect!
